What is on it

The eight movements in the traditional order, each with its seated cue written as an instruction you can read at a glance rather than a paragraph. Repetition counts and the main safety note for each movement.

  • All eight movements, in sequence
  • The seated cue for each — written for the chair, not the standing form
  • Repetitions per movement
  • The four cautions that matter most
  • One row per movement, so nothing is buried in small print

The sheet is a single A4 page and prints cleanly in black and white. We also publish the same thing for the twelve forms of the Twelve-Section Brocade, which is a longer routine and a separate sheet.

Why a printed page works better than a screen

A screen goes dark, runs out of battery and tempts you to check something else. A printed page sits beside you, holds the sequence in front of you so you do not have to remember it, and is the same every time. For a practice built on repetition, that matters.

The paid version, if you want more

The free page gives you the sequence and the cues. The 28-day seated programme adds illustrated movement cards, a day-by-day plan, and a practice tracker.

Common questions

Does it cost anything?

No. The one-page guide is free.

Do I have to give my email?

No. Both PDFs download directly. If you choose to enter your email, it is to receive occasional practice notes; you can unsubscribe at any time.

Can I print it for a group or a care home?

Yes. Printing it for a class, a care home or a family member is fine. Please do not resell it or republish it as your own.

Does it cover the standing version too?

No. This page is deliberately the seated version only, so the sheet stays usable at a glance. Standing instructions for each movement are on the movement pages of this site.
