What to write about

  • A correction — an error in a movement description, a poor translation, or a source we have cited wrongly. If you practise these routines, this is the most useful message you can send.
  • An accessibility problem — text that is hard to read, a control that does not work, or anything that gets in the way if you use a screen reader or need large print.
  • A broken link, a page that will not load, or a printable guide that does not print correctly.
  • A partnership enquiry — care homes, rehabilitation services and community programmes that would like to run these routines with groups.
  • A translation offer. This site is English only. If you practise these routines and would like to help in another language, write and say which one.

What we cannot help with

This site does not answer medical questions, and it cannot tell you whether a particular movement is safe for your situation. That needs someone who has examined you and knows your history.

  • Whether a movement is safe given a specific diagnosis
  • Whether to stop a medication, or change a dose
  • Whether a symptom you are experiencing is serious
  • A personalised exercise plan

How this site is maintained

This is a small independent site, not a company with a support team. Pages are written and revised by one person, and every page carries a review status at the bottom so that you can see how far that process has got.

Where a correction changes what a page says, the page is updated rather than replaced, and the date at the bottom changes with it.

Common questions

How quickly will I hear back?

Usually within a few days. This is a one-person site, and corrections are read before routine enquiries.

Can I ask whether a movement is safe for me?

No, and please do not rely on this site for that. Nobody here has examined you or seen your medical history. Ask a clinician who has.

Do you accept guest posts or sponsored content?

No. This site does not publish sponsored content, affiliate posts or guest articles, and it does not sell links. If you see something of that kind claiming to be from this site, it did not come from here.

I found a mistake in the Chinese or in the history. Is that useful?

Very. The historical material — the classical verse, the source texts, the transmission lineage — is the part most likely to be wrong in English-language writing about this practice, and the part where a knowledgeable reader can help most.

The Chinese names are the traditional names of the movements. They are not medical claims, and this site does not diagnose, treat or cure any condition.
